Salams,
I wanted to draw attention to two of my other blogs that I have included links to on this site. The first is a site with photos of different places that we have visited in Iran. Right now it includes Fatima Masouma's Shrine in Qom and some of the other Imam Zadehs also found in Qom. The second is a site where I post on an analysis on the sermons of Nahjul Balagha as I have been doing them for COIradio.com. It also includes some sacred perspectives in Islam. Inshallah I will be updating the site, especially analysis of Nahjul Balagha in my usual practical easy to understand and apply style taking in to consideration that we are all on different levels of our understanding and that this fact should in no way prevent us from reaching out to the teachings of our First Holy Imam - Imam Ali (as). His work is meant as a tafsir or explanation of the Holy Quran where by he knew that we are all on different levels and possessing the perfect understanding that he possessed he knew how to write in a way that it could be of use to all levels of understanding. It is unfortunate that we put the Nahjul Balagha aside often with the belief that we cannot understand his level so why try. This is a misunderstanding on our part. Why is it that we do not put the Quran aside even though its knowledge extends into the skies in levels.
How can we follow the Quran without Imam's knowledge and how can we follow our first Imam without touching his knowledge at any level. Perhaps we should try to change our perpectives on our Imams to realize that they are not just a religious guide but a guide for every single aspect of our personal growth. Every sermon can help us in every aspect of our lives if we just open ourselves up to it. Perhaps there is also a hint for us in the first sermon to how to even seek guidance in learning itself as he teaches us not what to think but...how.
