Saturday: The Holy Prophet (saw) - Islam - a code of life. How are the days, chakras and Imams related?
7 Days of the week, 7 Chakras of the body - 14 Masoums divided by the number of days.
Is there any significance or relation? I extend the questions to ponder here.
We know that in Islam, everything is related to science and that is divided between the bodyminsouminsul.
What about the day and the Imams?
When we look at the fact that there are 7 days of the week and those days are divided between the Imams (as) and we have been given clear instruction as to which day is for our Holy Prophet, the Imaand Lady Fatima Zahra (as) (there are more guidelines given but lets stick to these for now) then we have to at least ask the question whether there is any relationship between our personal relationship with our holy prophet and each of the other Imams or Allah (Glorified be He) and any manifestation
First of all let me define what I mean by a personal relationship' with Allah, the Holy Prophet (saw) and Imams (as).
All relationships begin with certain laws: acceptable and unacceptable behaviors, then there are those behaviors that are out of love that we do just to gain favor and achieve proximity, now each of the three (Allah, Imams and Our Holy Prophet (saw) have their own places in our lives as far as our duties towards them are concerned.
Allah is of course the centerpoint of our attention and focus for whom we exist to reach nearness to (or perfection in our purity whether heart, mind or soul).
The Holy Prophet was the deliverer and vehicle for delivering the message and the laws with which to govern our lives and so our relationship with our Prophet is based upon how closely we guard ourselves by these laws that he delivered (the Quran and his traditions). He is as a matter of life guidance as our first spiritual father and our relationship towards our father in this life is with respect to our obedience to him is similar to our religious obligation and duty towards our Holy Prophet.
Now, that in place what is the significance of allocations a day and specifically Saturday to our Holy Prophet (saw). My job is not to provide proofs or conclusions since this is far from being a scholarly paper, however con's ideas one hadiths here with the above question in our minds:
Firstly, Our Holy Prophet (saw) has said:
'Knowledge is of three types; a clear sign that is the principles of faith, a just obligation that is ethics which is the middle course between two extremes, and a well known (sunnah) that is religious orders as well as issues related to lawful and unlawful things"
In addition,
It is said that the principles of faith are related to human mind, ethics to his soul and heart, and lawful things to his body.
Further, One hadith is quoted by our Holy Prophet(saw) that One should never leave the meal of the night of Saturday even if it is just a day and milk (I believe the date and milk to be correct, however I am not certain) - So here we are given a sign of a connection between Saturday and health.
And two more points: It is written in Hasan al Qulub by a lama Majlisi (ra) in his first volume on 'The stories of the prophets' under the chapter of Prophet Ibrahim (as) that before Prophet Ibrahim (as) no one got sick, they just came to the end of their term and died. It was said that before that time, people could not tell the fifference in age between a grandfather, son or a grandson. Prophet Ibrahim then prayed to Allah to give his people something that would be a mercy for them as an expiation of their sins, Allah sent two ailments: dementia and one other. He had also prayed to Allah to distinguish him, when he awoke one morning he had grown a single grey hair in his beard. Prophet Ibrahim (as) is known to us as the father of the organised religions, because before him we did not have the structure and social structure of a religion as we do now. Here again we see the connection between health and laws.
Finally, one of our Imams had said that because the Imams do not commit zulm or any form of oppression, if it were not for being martyred, they would have stayed alive until they had completed their mission (we know that the Imam is young and will be as a young man when he reappears.
And after finally (smile), Imam Ali once said to Salman al-Farsi (ra) when he (Salman) was ill Every illness a person has, even a scratch, is a result of their sins.
The point here is to ponder on the significance of our relationship with the Holy Prophet (saw) on our lives, which aspect of our lives does it affect and what significance does the day Saturday have on that same aspect of our lives? Are we given a particular day to work on and correct a focused part of our being in this case the physical aspect of our selves? And if we do not give due attention on that day, will it affect us until the next week comes around or until amends have been made such as a zakat said after Saturday (however it may not have the same power as on the Saturday because of the effect of Allah's time on us.
One last quote to finish this Saturdays contemplation with.: Imams have said 'Do not provoke the days, we are the days' Mafatihul Jinan.
