"A well organized household is heaven on earth" Holy Prophet of Islam (saw)
Salams,
As I was doing my ziyarat of Aale Yasin (late one day) it came to me to post on the 'Family of light'that the 'panjatan pak' or panjtan or first 5 members of the blessed house hold together with Imam Hassan and Hussain signify the first 3 days of the week, the first 3 chakras. We have already spoken about that I know but in light of the rest of the Imams, what is the significance as a community as well as individually in our lives?
We have said that our Prophet (saw), whose day is Saturday and without whom we would have no message, no laws and no religion is the foundation of the Deen.
He symbolizes both literally and metaphorically the foundation of our life and health (given that the laws are for the body). We have also said that he is in our life what our father is in worldly terms - without him we would have no life - our brain, nerves and blood is from our father (according to Al-Mizan by Ayatullah Tabataba'i), our father acts as the foundation of our straightness in our Deen and life if we obey him and if we do not give him his rights, then our life will be less than desireable. If however our fathers were not of the Deen then outside of religious ordinances, our fathers have a say in every other aspect of our life which we must obey if our life is to be blessed.
We considered that observing the rights of our Holy Prophet (saw) in our life and perhaps beginning with Saturday, may help us in our relationship with our father as our Holy Prophet guides us in issues relating to our life with regards to his position and the parallel of him in our lives. Perhaps it is useful to consider this given the multitude of issues that the world in general and the Ummah is facing in relationships. Perhaps we can analyze our own lives, correct the issues of this day and see what changes at least for that week??? [At this point we are considering only, none of what I am saying is meant as a carving on stone since it is an analysis and there is no crime in asking questions openly and analysing - if anyone can find a reasonable explanation why this is incorrect or completely bizzare, then please do jump in and correct me.
Moving on now to Imam Ali (as) and Lady Fatima (as). Consider that this is the ideal of a perfect marriage and relationship between not only husband and wife but of father in-law and son in law a portrayal of what we were guided towards in day 1 or Saturday (the relationship between a daughter and her father). In addition ofcourse are the laws and involvement between the father in-law (of the daughter quite interestingly, when we see the interferences today of a daughter, her family and the marriage contract) in the initial marriage contract as well as every other sittuation of a couple in their lives.
It also shows us the daughter's duties towards the father after marriage and how it changes and where it may not change. We are at this point only analysing so this is a very superficial comparison and consideration between the Ahle Bayt and our worldly relationships. Now if we give this day its due, at a minimal level it would be reciting the ziarat of Imam Ali (as), Lady Fatima (as) and obtaining a minimal amount (or handleable (is that even a word? :)) of knowledge of these two infallibles on this day, then perhaps it is what will guide us in our coming week for our marriages (or marriage choices). Given the number of divorces in the Islamic community, it would seem that at one point of this process our masoums were not being included where they should in our weeks or perhaps that we had not given day 1 (in the week or in our lives) their due at which point it may be useful to go back (or move forward - both work here) and correct our deen and our practices which givng Saturday, and our Holy Prophet will guide us in Inshallah.
Now we move on to Monday and Imam Hassan (as) and Imam Hussayn (as) the 2nd and 3rd Imam and the owners of the Third Day, third period, third chakra, Monday. It is the relationship between the mother and father together with the children, the grandfather with the grand children, the children with the parents and the children with eachother. Giving the Imams their due will perhaps guide us in our relationships with our own sibblings, mothers, fathers or grandfathers????
Is it then possible that until the end of Monday, or the completion of this 'day', that the third chakra, the chakra of power, or action, of control is kept in balance and this is all that is required until this level for our lives to be 'maintained'. When we say maintained, it would be understood that there is no growth at this point, just peace at a level at which the family is concerned, the 'normal' functioning of a family before stepping out into the larger realms of the nuclear family and the bigger community (within Islam still)?
I would like to mention here, that this paradigm can be also used as an equation where whatever level we are, the variables can be plugged in and we can see if it would work in our lives. Let me give a very preliminary example. In order to progress in life, we should look at our 4th Imam's Risalatul Huqquq and see where the duties begin. According to our 4th Imam and everything we know, our duties begin with giving Allah his right, so we begin with thought in our spiritual lives. However, once our Deen has been satisfied we can move on to the next most basic model and that is of our health. If we use this same model in our health we can see another pattern forming where we come to understand food from the point of view of Quran. How? That is another post but let's suffice it to say that in Surah Yasin (the heart of the Holy Quran)
Allah mentions in verse 33 (the number of power) that:
"There is a sign in the dead earth for them. We give life to it and we bring forth from it grain which they eat"
36:33
Quite interestingly, number 33 is the number of dhikr
http://numerical19.blogspot.com/2006/07/33-and-5.html
again, at this point we are only considering significances, connections and parallels.
However, if we look into the value of the grain (arabic=habban) which includes more than just grain but lentils and beans too, and we plug in many basic illnesses (I've tried it for thyroid, anaemia, hair growth etc) then we see that the basic nutrition is found in 'habban'. SOOOOO, my point is that this can be used for each stage of progress after and including our spiritual responsibilities, lending evidence to the fact that Quran /Islam contains a complete code for life, we must only believe and ask the questions when turning to the Quran.
I apologize in advance for any deficiencies in this post. I am just another human asking questions and posing my own thoughts using the Quran and the Ahle Bayt to solve life's problems.
