A Gift to security

Recently a young 23 year old brother narrated to us a story of when he was on army duty here in Iran.

He told us that he was on duty at site in uniform minding his own business and taking care of his duties here in Qom when suddenly a man and what must have been his wife drove up to the site in a car.  The man got out with an envelope and approached the soldier.  He asked him what his business was here at this site and that he can not enter.  The man told him that he had come to give an amount of money to a soldier as a gift.  The soldier responded that he did not accept to take any money from this man.  The man tried to approach closer to the soldier, but the soldier responded light hearted with a smile on his face that he was here to protect the site and showed him that he was holding a weapon.  The man did not listen and the soldier tried to escape and try to climb over the fence so that the man could not give him the money (the wife was watching throughout this event).  In the end when the man could see that he was not getting anywhere with the soldier he finally threw the packet over the fence, turned around and got back into his car.
