I wanted to offer at least one post to this remarkable and humble friend of ours Mohammad Kobadi. I do not believe that his accomplishments and service to the saving of the Persian Gulf name as well as his services as a part of rescue missions all around Iran including earth quakes, mountain missions and saving newborn babies lives in accidents to name not even one percent of what his has offered his service towards have recieved enough mention.
Below gives you a very small glimpse but I will follow this soon with a story on him, how and when it all began, and what he has sacrificed as well as his very strong back bone in turning down US $1 million out of principal...anyway you are going to have to wait for that but I'll tell you one thing a book on this hero is surely deserved. Iran loves you Mohammad Kobadi...He's always in service.

"Open-water swimming takes place in open oceans, seas, rivers, canals, etc. The first, and therefore fastest, swim along the length of the Persian Gulf is by 34-year-old Mohammad Kobadi (Iran). In 84 days between 19 December 2011 and 12 March 2012, Kobadi swam 1,051 km (653 miles), in stages, from the Strait of Hormuz to Arvand Kenar along the coast of southeastern Iran, averaging 11.7 km (7.2 miles) per day. The achievement was ratified by Open Water Source."
